Virtual Pasta Class with Volturno
March 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for this event, we are now sold out! For those that bought tickets…
The class will be held live on Volturno’s Facebook page and start at 6pm. Volturno’s owner, Greg Califano, will lead our class; please feel free to ask questions via the chat feature. If something comes up and you are unable to make the live class, the video will be available for viewing on Volturno’s page. Just click “More” then “Videos” to view, it should be the most recent one.
Why Me has teamed up with Volturno Pizza for our first virtual fundraiser, raising money to help support local Worcester kids battling cancer. We will be making a Chittara (handmade spaghetti) that comes with a Amatriciana (guanciale and tomato) sauce. Tickets are $80 per household. This includes the pasta dinner kit which feeds four, a bottle of wine (specific bottle to be determined), and our live class instruction with Greg Califano, owner of Volturno.
We are excited to showcase the flavors and traditions of italian cuisine. Amatriciana is one of the italian staples and can be found in restaurant menus all across the world. It’s simplicity and richness of well balanced flavors makes it the perfect family dish and you can literally make it in minutes!
Let’s get cooking!
The fine print: For maximum freshness pasta kits must be picked up at Volturno in Worcester either on March 5th (curbside pickup available). Our live class instruction will take place on Facebook Live, on the Volturno Facebook page.
