Kids Ruck
The Turners – 4 Hour Kid Ruck Charity Challenge
The Kid Ruck Charity Challenge for Why Me & Sherry’s House is a “kid size version” of the adults 100 Mile Ruck March. The Turner trio will camp out in their own tents, pack up in the morning, and then complete as many 1 mile loops on the Seven Saws Brewery trails as they can during the 4 hour event window.
We learned about Sherry’s House many years ago when our friends were there and we connected with the organization in our work with Kai’s Village and continue to support and value their mission. “Sherry’s House is a place where kids and their families can come and receive the support and encouragement they need to fight childhood cancer, together. Sherry’s House serves as a home-away-from-home for families while their child is on active treatment. Additionally, Sherry’s House proudly services as Why Me’s headquarters, housing our administrative offices and serving as home-base for many of our events and activities throughout the year.”
The boys and many of our soccer friends are raising money to support Sherry’s House because “kids shouldn’t have to suffer and we should help kids who need it.” They are excited to compete to walk as many loops as they can in the given time. You’ll see them training soon up and down Shresbury Street with their gear to get in shape and ready! Please consider joining us in supporting this fantastic event – ALL of the proceeds go directly to Sherry’s House.
Please help us support this great family support center in our area and raise money for Why Me & Sherry’s House!
