Falmouth Road Race
Jay Barron – Easier Said Than RUN
I am running the Falmouth Road Race, a 7 mile seaside course, to raise funds for Why Me. The course consists of the first three miles being narrow, hilly, winding tree-shaded roads, while the last four miles are open on the flat right next to Martha’s Vineyard Sound. A small steep hill lets you know that you are beginning the last half-mile of the race. Once you crest the hill it is “all downhill” to the finish. Children diagnosed with cancer have a much longer and tougher battle ahead of them but with support groups, financial assistance, parent social outings, family fun events, hospital visits and so much more – families find the tools and assistance needed for their long journey ahead.
Running in the August heat is “Easier Said Than RUN”!
