Our Why Me All Star runners will once again run the winding hills of the Falmouth Road Race on August 18, 2019 raising vital funds to support kids with cancer. The first three miles are narrow, hilly, winding tree-shaded roads, while the last four miles are open on the flat right next to Martha’s Vineyard Sound. A small steep hill lets you know that you are beginning the last half-mile of the race. Once you crest the hill it is “all downhill” to the finish. Children diagnosed with cancer have a much longer and tougher battle ahead of them but with support groups, financial assistance, parent social outings, family fun events, and hospital visits families find receive the tools and assistance needed for the long journey ahead.
